OUR
STORY

CHANEY & MIKAYLA

Chaney and Mikayla, partners since 2011, pursued diverse fields of study—Chaney in videography and communications, and Mikayla in hospitality and event management. Post-graduation, Chaney engaged in community outreach within the nonprofit sector, while Mikayla specialized in event operations for life science conferences. Both furthered their education with master's degrees, honing their business skills.

With a commitment to understanding and fostering connections throughout the community, the duo engaged in volunteer activities focusing on job equity and education, including mentoring through the Big Brother Big Sister and Year Up programs.

Amid the pandemic, they reassessed their goals, leveraging Chaney's videography and storytelling expertise and Mikayla's business acumen to establish CTD Productions. Their business objective centers on employing visual storytelling to showcase diverse community narratives through high-quality, professional videos across genres. Their belief in the importance of every individual's story, particularly those often unheard, drives their mission. They advocate for brands to champion racial equity and inclusion, utilizing their backgrounds to convey a more informed and connected message, bridging communities that might otherwise remain separate.
